A huge trend that has hit stores and runways this year is the braid. Models are seen wearing various forms of braids. The braid has recently been made popular by MTV’s reality tv star Lauren Conrad from The Hills. She always has her hair done in a trendy french braid twist. Her hair is usually parted down the middle, twisted on both sides, and the secured in place with a bobby pin. I love this trend and have even tried it for myself.

Bib necklaces are like works of art for your neck. The bib necklace looks great with a bare neck or even with something as simple as a rounded neck tee. Bib Necklaces are a huge trend this winter and can be found in all the hottest boutiques and stores. I recently bought a gold chain with aqua stone accents and I love it. If you want to look great this season….you need a bib necklace!

Fashion philosphers have recently been followin the less is more suggestion. In the past make up artists have been caking on large amounts of bright colors and vibrant hues and now the tides have changed and the in look is light make-up. It seems to be more refresing to look like you arent wearing any make up at all. The stylists suggest mineral foundation, nude eyeshadows, mascara, and a glossy lip.

As the weather gets colder and the holiday season approaches, warmer clothes make their way to closets around the world. Fleece seems to be a hot commodity for people in countless areas attempting to stay warm. Fleece is comfy, cozy, and warm. Many outdoor brands have begun to supply fleece jackets for stores. Fleece brands include North Face, Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, etc. This year i plan on wearing my fleece patagonia on all the chilly cold winter nights.

The other day i was doing some christmas shopping at the outlets in Gaffney,SC and came across some very cute lounge bottoms at the j crew store. I thought it was so interesting that lounge bottoms or better known as pj’s can be fashionable. This store had a whole table full of varied patterns and colors. My favorite were the pale pink and brown cheetah pants. I love the fact that the fashion world is now even venturing to things such as sleep wear.

The Newest trend in fashion

Ever heard the saying blondes have more fun? well that doesn’t seem to be the case these days in the fashion industry. Red haircolor has been taking the fashion industry by storm and the redheards are making their mark on the runway. We are beginning to see more and more red-head models covering the pages of fashion magazines and ads. Is this trend here to stay or will blondes regain their crown? Whatever the case, these days red is hot!

A recent trend in the world of fashion has been the peculiar task of women wearing mens clothes and making them look fashionable. Women all over the world have begun to sport baggy jeans and blazers and have managed to make them look high fashion and even feminen. I personally have not caught on to this look but i do admire those who can pull it off. The boyfriend fit jeans are a great look for fall.

Pink is such a fun and girly color and is definitely wearable throughout any season. I love pink for winter becuase it brings a bit of cheer when the weather tends to be dreadful and cold. Pink is in for any fashion trend. Pink coats, pink sweaters, pink scarves, pink purses etc. Go out there and get some pink!
